Submission
Deadline for abstract submissions is April 15, 2024!
Offered paper submission
You are kindly invited to offer paper for oral or poster presentation for the Eucarpia General Congress 2024. To do so, you are invited to register and submit an abstract online (one page, see instructions below). A confirmation message will be sent on your e-mail. The deadline for abstract submission is April 15, 2024.
The Scientific Committee will select the oral contributions and posters based on the submitted abstracts. Authors will be informed not later than May 30, 2024.
A book of abstracts including invited papers and all accepted offered papers (both oral and poster presentations) will be available to the participants at the beginning of the conference in the meeting material.
Instructions for abstracts:
Abstract must be sent in a single .doc or .docx file. Abstracts should be written in standard English in MS Word, page size A4 (21 x 29.7 cm), font Times New Roman 12 pt., and single line spacing throughout. The margins should be 2.5 cm. Authors are responsible for the content and layout.

Traveling by airplane
The next airport Leipzig-Halle (LEJ) airport is around 30 km NW of Leipzig. You can travel further by train or car (there are rental car services at the airport). Next bigger airports are the Berlin (BER) airports and the Frankfurt (FRA) airport; they have a huge number of connections to and from Germany, Europe and America.
Traveling by train
Please use the website of Deutsche Bahn to plan your trip. You can search for train connections to Leipzig from any city in Germany. The central train station in Leipzig is about 1 km from the conference venue.
Traveling by car
Leipzig is next to the A9, A14 and A38 motorways. The city centre can be reached via the following exits.
- Coming from Berlin and Magdeburg via the A14, take the Leipzig-Mitte exit
- From Dresden via the A14, turn off at the Leipzig-Ost exit
- Driving in from Munich and Erfurt via the A38, take the Leipzig-Südwest exit
